Marilyn C. Dirden

Marilyn Carlotta Dirden (nee Rea) age 84 on July 29, 2024, passed away at Forsyth Nursing Home in Forsyth Missouri. (Former O'Fallon resident)

Loving wife of the late Wayne E. Dirden; loving daughter of the late Verbal and Annabelle Rea; devoted mother of Pamela (Loren) Bedore, Alan Dirden, Robert Dirden, and Michelle (Marvin) Johnson; cherished grandmother of Courtney (Kris) Broadway, Corey Bedore, Meghan Dirden, Kevin Dirden, and Justin (Abby) Dirden; great grandmother of Kinleigh Dirden and Hallie Dirden; aunt to Diana Ing; and sister-in-law to Carole Rea. Preceded in death by her brothers, James Rea and David Rea; nephew, Monty Rea and niece, Jamie Neal. 

Marilyn loved riding motorcycles, cooking, sewing quilts for family members, and playing cards with friends. She loved watching football on Sundays and was a big fan of Patrick Mahomes. She had a career at JCPenney working in the catalog department. She loved collecting bells and cookbooks and trying out new recipes. 

Memorials may be made in Marilyn's name to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
