Marilyn K. Dougherty

Marilyn Kae Dougherty (nee. Andreas), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the age of 78. Beloved wife of 56 years to Ronald “Ron” Dougherty; cherished daughter of the late Oliver and Alice Andreas; devoted mother of Andrea (Hector) Irizarry and Patrick (Connie) Dougherty; loving grandmother of Lucas, Keegan, Aiden, Lola and Caitlin; dear sister of Clifford (Lori) Andreas.  

Marilyn was an English teacher at Florissant Jr. High School and then Social Studies at Cross Keys Middle School. She never met a stranger and was very sociable; if you were her friend, you were her family. In her free time, she enjoyed movies, musicals, and coloring. Most of all Marilyn loved her family and attending all her grandchildren’s events. Marilyn was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
