Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association. Marilyn McCandless, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Gerald McCandless; dear daughter of the late Lucille Holdcraft; devoted mother of Kathryn Burmahl and Sandra (Steve) Kelly; cherished grandmother of Christophere Burmahl, Shayna, Marissa, and Monica Kelly; dear sister of the late Leslie Holdcraft. Marilyn was the President of the PTA, Chamber of Commerce in Independence MO, United Way, Girl Scouts of America, Executive Director for Campfire Girls, Office Manager at KOA in Phoenix, and volunteered for many other organizations.
