Marilyn A. Hattemar

Marilyn A. Hattemar (nee Lauer), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of 64 years to Kermit Hattemar; cherished daughter of the late Floyd C. and Gertrude M. Lauer; devoted mother of Keith (Kelly Knehans) Hattemar, and Kevin (Michelle) Hattemar; loving grandmother of Nick Hattemar, Andrew (Carly) Hattemar, Sara Hattemar, Jack Hattemar, and Regan Hattemar; precious great-grandmother of Carson Hattemar, Axel Hattemar, and Kingsley Hattemar; dear sister of Carol Hattemar.

Marilyn was a loving and devoted woman. She was deeply engaged with St. John Church, passionate about gardening, and reveled in her travels. Marilyn delighted in sharing stories with her children and grandchildren, ensuring cherished memories endured through generations. An exceptionally devoted mother, she stayed home to nurture her boys during their formative years, all while actively participating in school fundraisers. Her culinary skills were renowned, and for two decades, she imparted wisdom through Sunday school lessons.
