Marion Brockmann-Gade

Marion Brockmann-Gade of Lake St. Louis, MO, passed away at the age of 83 on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Gade; her son, Richard Gade; her parents, Henry and Lena Brockmann; and her brothers, John and Ronald “Butch” Brockmann.

Marion is survived by her children, Nancy and Diane Gade; her sister, Carol Boyer; and her many nieces and nephews.

Marion was a faithful member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in West Ely Missouri and cherished the wonderful church community she was part of there. She had many interesting hobbies. In her younger years, Marion loved to cross-stitch and created many lovely things. She was an avid reader with a fondness for a great romance or mystery novel and she had a keen interest in plants, birds and butterflies. Above everything, Marion treasured her travels with Donald, the love of her life for sixty-one years, and especially their trips to the Canadian Rockies where they would spend time in the mountains and marvel at the beautiful waterfalls and wildlife. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions in Marion’s name may be made to the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
