Marion MJ Junior Bowen

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society of The Church of St. Cletus. Marion ''MJ'' Bowen was born to Albert M. and Mabel J. Bowen. His loving parents preceded him in death. Mr. Bowen was a Territory Manager for five years with the Commerical Lovelace Truck Line. He was a member of the Church of St. Cletus, the Knights of Columbus and he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from August 1942 to November 1945. Mr. Bowen is survived by his wife, Catherine of St. Charles, Missouri. They were married November 12, 1949 in Bloomington, Illinois. He is also survived by four brothers and two sisters: Betty Frazier of Ursa, Illinois, Kenneth Bowen of Phoenix, Arizona, Harold and Richard Bowen of Quincy, Illinois, Bill Bowen of Tacoma, Washington and Glenna of Plainville, Illinois; special and devoted friends, Roger and Lucy Goolsby of St. Charles, Missouri. Mr. Bowen was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle and godfather.
