Marion Roger Schmidt

Marion Roger Schmidt, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Nelda J. Schmidt; beloved son of the late Robert and Georgia Schmidt; devoted father of Stephen (Linda) Schmidt, Samuel (Sue Phillips) Schmidt, and Robert S. (Tina) Schmidt; cherished grandfather of Daniel Schmidt, Valerie (Bryan) Upson, Shaheena Chandhry, and Yousif Chaudhry; dearest brother of Kenneth (Barbara) Schmidt, Robert L. (Joyce) Schmidt, Darlene Gerken, Doris (Jim) Graue, Norma Jean Stiegman; brother-in-law of Robert Edler. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda (survived by Tanweer) Chaudhry; two brothers, John Schmidt and Marvin Schmidt; two sisters, Mildred Lockhause and Martha Graue.

Marion was a member of the optimist club. He enjoyed spending his time exercising, gardening, hunting, fishing, and cooking. Marion was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
