Marjorie A. Piazza

Piazza , Marjorie A., of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Austin Piazza; dear daughter of the late Josiah F. and Minnie Lestena Whitworth; devoted mother of Joseph M. (Mary C.) Piazza, Rebecca J. (Dr. Emil A.) DiFilippo, and James A. Piazza; dear sister of Marcus Delano Whitworth; Beloved Sister-in-Law, Aunt, and Friend; cherished grandmother of four and great-grandmother of four. She is preceded in death by her daughter Marisa A. Piazza, brothers Joseph and Maurice Whitworth, and sister Jeanne Swafford. Marjorie was a member of the First United Methodist Church in St Charles. Marge was a "Pioneer" of her day, working outside of the home while raising a family. Marge was secretary for the brokerage company of Authur S. Goodall & Co., following she was the executive secretary to the Vice President of Sales of Griesedieck Western Brewing Company. For 18 years she was secretary to the Pastor of Christ United Presbyterian Church, St. Louis, MO.
