Marjorie Eatherton

Marjorie Eatherton (nee Kasden), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the age of 101. Loving wife of the late Linley A. Eatherton and Lester E. Wappelhorst; beloved daughter of the late Harry E. and Margaret J. A. Kasden; devoted mother of Diane (Dan) Eatherton-Watts, Jeffrey Eatherton, Dennis (Peggy) Eatherton, Ellen Jane Eatherton, and Jeff (Diane) Wappelhorst; cherished grandmother of Don Drown, Dave Drown, Jason Eatherton, Amy Fisher, Sean Eatherton, Brigget Kolb, Kristen Eatherton, and Jessica Mobley; treasured great-grandmother of 17. Marjorie is also preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Wappelhorst and daughter-in-law, Shirley Eatherton; brother, Harry Kasden, Jr.; and sister, Shirley Kasden.

Marjorie was an enthusiastic card player who loved canasta and had the best luck. Her favorite animal was a butterfly, and she even got a butterfly tattoo at the age of 92. She was a night owl who loved old and hallmark movies and never went to bed without finishing one. Marjorie was a great cook, known for her famous chicken RO-TEL. She enjoyed traveling in her RV with her husband, Lester, and loved sewing in her youth. Marjorie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
