Marjorie Lee Elmore

July 13, 1940 — August 24, 2020

Marjorie Lee Elmore (nee Stoehner), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 80 on Monday, August 24, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Ida Stoehner; and three sisters, Barbara Day, Dorothy Merlotti, and Joyce Brooks.

She is survived by her children, Christine (the late John) Lewis, Dale (Rhonda) Breer, and Bill Elmore; and her sister, Shirley Leistner.

Margie had a fun, charming personality that could light up a room. There was a special place in her heart for animals – especially her beloved dogs, Winston and Penny, whose companionship was a great source of joy in Margie’s life. For fun, Margie liked to spend her time playing card games online or solving a jigsaw puzzle. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions may be made in Margie's honor to the Humane Society of Missouri.
