Marjorie Ruth Wallace

Wallace, Marjorie Ruth (nee Clifford), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018, at the age of 94.

Beloved wife of the late William Warren Wallace, Sr.; cherished daughter of the late Elton and Constance Clifford; devoted mother of Patricia (Wallace) Birkhead, William Warren Wallace, Jr., Mary Beth (Wallace) Tauer, Joseph Andrew Wallace; loving grandmother of nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Marjorie was a retired registered nurse practicing for 37 years at St. Joseph Hospital, St. Charles, Missouri. She had many interests, such as cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team, putting together puzzles, making delicious pies, traveling throughout the world and all 50 United States, knitting and sewing, watching “Jeopardy,” and reading. She enjoyed giving away her handiwork.

In 1947 she and her husband became early members of the L. R. McAdams Sunday school of FUMC. Marjorie was a member of UMW and volunteered in the church office and was in various circles. She also volunteered at FISH (Friends in Serving Him).

Her giving nature and love of the Lord are examples for all.
