Mark K. Atwater

Mark K. Atwater, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023, at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Julie Atwater; cherished son of the late Robert and Marjorie Atwater. Devoted father of Ryan (Ashleigh) Atwater and Aubrey (Cole) Brown; loving grandfather of Graham Arand, Ava Brown, and Nolan Brown; dear brother of Michael Atwater, Matthew (Cindy) Atwater.

Mark was a family man, and a faithful devout catholic. He loved spending time outdoors and enjoying nature, sometimes even having conversations with any animal that would listen. He loved hiking, fishing, listening to music, golfing, and chocolate ice cream. He was an amazing artist with the mind of an engineer, who enjoyed building and working with his hands. There was nothing he couldn’t do or figure out. He was king of dad jokes. Mark spent his entire life helping and praying for others. He was everyone’s biggest cheerleader and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. As dad would say, I think we hit all the “Marks”…

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mark's name to JDRF, Wounded Warriors, St. Louis Children's Hospital.
