Mark Killian, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on November 5, 2023. He was born on August 1, 1961, in Saint Charles, MO. Mark was known for his dedication and commitment to his career, having worked for the same company for over 30 years. His exceptional work ethic was always evident as he took great pride in his accomplishments and often excitedly shared them with his family.

Mark will be remembered for his remarkable sense of humor and genuine love for his family. Providing for his loved ones was of utmost importance to him. He always went above and beyond to ensure their happiness and well-being. Family time held a special place in Mark's heart as he cherished every moment spent together.

Aside from work and family, Mark had a wide range of interests and hobbies that brought him joy throughout his life. He had a fascination with trains and enjoyed collecting model train sets. Another passion of his was shooting firearms; he found solace in the concentration and precision required in this activity. Mark also enjoyed playing pool, fishing, boating, and floating. He loved attending parades, carnivals, fairs, and picnics where he could engage with others in the community.

Mark's warm demeanor made him approachable to anyone he encountered. He possessed a remarkable friendliness that allowed him to strike up conversations effortlessly with both acquaintances and strangers alike. Family members fondly remember him as funny, family-oriented, disciplined yet fun-loving, and genuinely good-hearted.

Mark was very generous with his time and talents, he believed in giving back to those around him by offering his assistance whenever possible. Whether it was helping a neighbor, friend or family member, he stood out as someone always ready to lend a helping hand.

Mark is preceded in death by his father Paul Cissell Killian, mother Carol Jean Killian, brother Paul Killian, Jr., and sister Theresa Lynn Stephens. He is survived by his loving wife Tracy Killian, their two daughters Tara (Thor) Freese and Paige (Ruben) Minarik, as well as his grandchildren Malia Loos, Justice Love, Emma Gallagher, Alana Freese, Toran Freese, and Moana Minarik. Mark also leaves behind his brother John (Bobbie) Killian, sister-in-law Penny Powell, brother-in-law Alan Stephens, and numerous nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mark Killian will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His dedication to family and friends, kind-hearted nature, and unwavering commitment to providing for his loved ones serve as an inspiration to us all. May his soul find eternal peace, knowing that he has left behind a lasting legacy of love and generosity.
