Mark Kocourek

Mark Kocourek, of Winfield, Missouri, formerly of St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the age of 68. Loving life partner of Kathryn Lewis; beloved son of the late John and Myrtle Kocourek; devoted father of Holly (John) Gorman, Cory (Tammie) Kocourek, Jason (Susie) Lewis, and Greg (Lea) Lewis; cherished grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of five; dear brother of Sue DeSmith, Steve Kocourek, and Debbie Peterson; and is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, many friends and his loving puppy, Sadie. Mark is preceded in death by his loving companion and dog, Maggie Pie.

Mark was a very involved and supportive father. He cherished family and loved nothing more than spending time with them. Mark enjoyed traveling to Minnesota and spending time outdoors in nature going for walks and hiking. He was a big jokester and loved to make people smile with his humor. Mark was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mark's honor to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
