Marleen E. Murphy of Wildwood, MO, passed away at the age of 61 on Saturday, July 20, 2019. She was the loving wife of the late Matthew Murphy; and preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Erma Mae McGee.
Marleen is survived by her siblings, Norman (Sharon) McGee and Brenda (the late James) Fiala; her nieces and nephews, Angie (Todd) Sundhausen, Steven (Amy) Fiala, Dawn McGee-Gnuse, and Michael (Wendy) McGee; Steven (Andy) Fifield; and her great-nieces-and-nephews.
Marleen’s great joy in life was being around her family and with other people – especially kids. She loved seeing the joy on children’s faces during Christmas time and she enjoyed taking photos of them when they went to see Santa Claus. Watching movies, spending time with family and friends, or making her famous MEME Bags were ways that Marleen liked to spend her time. She was rarely content to stay in at home because her passion was for the outside world where she could be out doing things with, and for, the special people in her life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
