Jorel, Marshall R.
Was a devoted father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023, at age 70. He always had a smile on his face and packed his life full of fun and laughter.
Starting his career at the ripe age of 23 with Ozark Airlines, Marshall was dedicated to the airline industry for nearly 47 years. He worked hard, but played harder and was notorious for being a jokester. He treasured his job and peers at the airport and had no plan to ever retire.
Outgoing and funny, Marshall did not know a stranger. Everyone will dearly miss his countless calls, texts, and emails. Anyone who knew Marshall will remember him for his sense of humor, and ability to talk to anyone. He took pride in keeping his cars clean (mostly Volkswagens), and yard meticulously manicured. A typical day for him was usually filled with phone calls, especially with his brothers who he spoke to daily. He also enjoyed going to the car wash, reading the newspaper, pizza, playing cards, and black coffee.
Marshall is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Terry, son; Christopher (Sarah), and daughter; Jacqueline; two grandchildren, Charlie and Jack. He also leaves behind his beloved twin brother Randy (Cindy); brother, Ed; sister Karen; and many adored nieces and nephews.
The celebration of life will be on Saturday, April 1st at Whitmoor Country Club from 1-4pm. No better day to honor Marshall than April Fool’s day! Deeply missed already, he will remain in our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Make-a-Wish Foundation in his name.
