Martha Ann “Marty” Ohlms

Martha Ann “Marty” Ohlms (nee Boschert) of Saint Charles, Missouri, on Friday January 12, 2018, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Orville F. Ohlms; cherished daughter of the late Clem and Martha Boschert; devoted mother of Lisa (Kerry) Crayon, Jeffrey (Kelly) Ohlms, and the late Kevin Ohlms, dear mother-in-law of Teresa Ohlms; loving grandmother of Jennifer (Andrew) Walton, Kyle (Wendy) Little, Kali Crayon, Shaun (Katie) Ohlms, Stacy (Adam) Humphrey, Dylan Ohlms, and Ashlyn Ohlms; treasured great-grandmother of Logan Humphrey, Samantha Little, Carly Humphrey, Brooke Walton, Lily Ohlms, Brady Little, Macie Humphrey, Bristol Little, and Lucas Ohlms; and dear sister of Jeanette (Ralph) Brunstein and Wayne (Janice) Boschert.

After high school, Marty became a beautician working at a salon in St. Charles. She loved to sew, and taught many girls through being a sewing leader with the Point Prairie 4-H Club. She was a member of the women’s St. Peter’s Sodality and joined the ladies quilting group ever Monday. Her goal was to stitch each grandchild and great-grandchild their very own quilt. She was thrilled to have fulfilled her goal. Marty always wore a smile and never met a stranger!
