She was dedicated Elementary School Teacher who worked tirelessly to help her students to succeed. She started her career at Whiteman Airforce Base in Warrensburg Missouri. Upon returning to the St. Charles area, she taught briefly in the Ferguson-Florissant School District, then moved to the Fort Zumwalt School District where she spent the majority of her career. She was an active member in Immanuel Lutheran Church, a member of Birthday Club #41, she was an avid bowler and had bowled at the Immanuel Lutheran Lanes. She was one of the best bowlers in her league. She was a member of the Mother’s Club, The Mothers of Twins Club. This did not prevent her from doing circle word puzzles, playing computer games, watching St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and the Hallmark Channel.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Wayne. She also leaves behind four sons, Mark, Jerry (Dawn), Terry (Jill), Ryan (Jill); 8 grandchildren, Tyler, Carly, Emma, Lorelei, Conner, Kinsley, Khloe, and Kyla.

Martha leaves behind a legacy of love, care, and kindness that will resonate through the hearts of those she touched. As we remember her today, we are reminded that her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren that were the treasure of her heart.
