Marvin E. Detjen

Detjen, Marvin "Beno", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Friday, February 8, 2008 at the age of 81. Dear son of the late Albert Otto and Olga Marie Detjen; dearest husband of the late Patricia Detjen; devoted father of Karen Maresca, dear brother of Milton Detjen, Harold (Nancy) Detjen, Clinton (Carol) Detjen, Raymond (Evelyn) Detjen, Irma (Lowell) Dreyer, Bernice Boxdorfer, Viona (Robert) Powell and Dorothy Weber. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Ruben, Hugo and Clarence Detjen and sister Mildred Braeuner. Beno was a Metal Finisher with Ford Motor for 30 years, a member of American Legion Post 133, Perryville and a UAW retired worker. He grew up in New Wells, MO and moved to St. Louis after serving in WWII.
