Marvin F. Vogt

Marvin F. Vogt, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the age of 86. Loving husband of the late Mary Virginia Vogt; beloved son of the late Anthony and Helen Vogt; devoted father of Mary "Peggy" Gerdes, Richard (Jane) Vogt, and Nicholas (Lisa) Vogt; cherished grandfather of Justin (Katie) Vogt, Matthew (Jennifer) Gerdes, Jacob (Amber) Vogt, Kaitlan (Brendan) Kane, Megan Gerdes, Alex Vogt, Adam Vogt, and Kristine Vogt; and great-grandfather of Luke, Logan, Declan, Ethan, Hunter, Lillian, Ruby, Isaac, Nolan, and Levi; dear brother of Robert (Jackie) Vogt, Theresa Vogt, Susan (Michael) Cissell, Nancy Davis, Gloria (Ric) Hill, and Marlene Silverberg; beloved brother-in-law, cousin, and uncle to many. Marvin is also preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Vogt, Clemence "Tiny" Vogt, and Lester Vogt.

Marvin was a longtime member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He was also a member of Carpenters Union #1987. Marvin was a family man and absolutely loved spending time with family and his friends. Marvin enjoyed staying home and taking care of his beloved dog. Marvin was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Marvin 's name to Masses at Borromeo Catholic Church or to the organization of the donor’s choice.
