Marvin Kriesmann peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the age of 89 surrounded by his family. Marvin is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth Kriesmann (nee Kaveler), his daughters Lisa Koester (Brian), Renee Kriesmann and Jill Stubbs (Kevin), granddaughters Sheena Reidelberger (Jeremy), Marissa Koester and great-grandchildren, of whom he adored, Jacob and Corinne Reidelberger.

Marvin was born and raised in Black Walnut, MO the youngest child of his parents, German immigrants Henry Kriesmann and Anna Kriesmann (Sunderhuse). Marvin was a hard worker, a fun guy and the life of any party. He loved good old country western classics and was always quick to share his ‘Marvin-isms’. Most importantly, he loved his family, his wife of 64 years, his daughters and granddaughters but especially the lights of his life, his great grandchildren.

A very special thank you to all of Marvin’s caretakers that have helped along the way including our dear friend Sharon Green and the amazing staff at St. Joseph’s hospital, in St. Charles, MO.

Marvin was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, pappy, brother, uncle and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
