Mary Alice Crawford
December 27, 1935 — December 3, 2020
Mary Alice Crawford of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 84 on Thursday, December 3, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Crawford; her parents, Edward and Alvina Bartel; and her siblings, Bobby Bartel, Bud Bartel, Delores Kerbs, and Joann Fleming.
She is survived by her children, Rebecca Crawford and Russell (Barbara) Crawford; her grandson, Tyler Crawford; and her sister, Donna Harper.
Mary was the former proprietor of Village Sweet Shoppe in Hazelwood and she was proud of the business she grew. She was a faithful member of Faith United Methodist where she found great fulfillment in her church community there. For fun, Mary was fond of playing bridge, sitting down to solve a jigsaw puzzle or read a great book, and traveling the world with her beloved late husband, William. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial contributions in Mary’s name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
