Mary Ann Elgert (nee: Verplanke), of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Friday, May 5, 2017 at the age of 77. She was the cherished daughter of the late Arthur Verplanke and the late Anna Wilkinson; and loving mother of Margot Elgert and Jimmy Lee Elgert.
Mary was a long-time resident of Emmaus Homes of St. Charles, where she built lasting relationships with many of her fellow residents and staff members. She enjoyed watching the Golden Girls, listening to Hank Williams, and drinking diet soda. Mary will truly be missed by all who knew her.
