Mary Ann Gatto of Saint Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 78 on Saturday, May 8, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dorothy Ward; her brother, Charlie Ward; and three siblings-in-law, Frank Gatto, Josephine Scuras, and Rose Craig.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Leo Gatto; her children, Debbie (Blake) Butterfield, Karen (Richard) Crawford, and Amy (Russell) Hatton; her grandchildren, Ashley (Kyle) Asbury, Michael Butterfield, Tim (Christina) Crawford, Donovan Hatton, and Tori Hatton; her great-grandchildren, Jayden and Hailey Crawford; her sister, Lorraine Cambron; her siblings-in-law, Vincent (Diane) Gatto and Marie (Don) Savage; and she was a beloved aunt and friend to many.
Mary Ann was a faithful parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She had a fantastic personality and truly was a sweetheart who was loved by everyone who met her. Each and every child she cared for at her home daycare was made to feel special and loved as if they were her own. Mary Ann was always devoted to her husband, daughters, and grandchildren and she always treasured the times they spent together as a family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
