Mary was very strong in her faith and active in both the Immaculate Conception Dardenne church community and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul where she served as treasurer. Being involved in the parish as well as volunteering at the soup kitchen brought Mary and Will great joy. Their compassion led her and Will to sponsor many children from third world countries so that they may receive an education and they also were part of the charity organization Smile Train. No matter what, Mary always prayed the entire rosary twice each night. For fun, Mary loved to read, cook for her family, and was always happy to go for a good walk. Above everything, Mary cherished the time she spent with her family and treasured the memories they all made together over the years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorials may be made in Mary's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
