Mary Camilla “Camie” Scaturo

Mary Camilla "Camie" Scaturo (nee: Bono), of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the age of 74. Camie was the loving wife of the late Vito Scaturo; beloved daughter of the late Vito J. and Rita M. Bono; devoted mother of Vicki (Fiance, Joe Popiel) Caradonna, Liisa (Mike) Conley, Chris (Shuganti) Caradonna, and Mary Beth (Bob) Spears; cherished grandmother of Aaron (Kristi), Lauren, Ryan, Olivia, Jeff, and Brad; treasured great-grandmother of two; dear sister of Vito J. (Connie) Bono; loving owner of, Teddi, her beloved pet toy poodle; and beloved aunt, Godmother, cousin, sister-in-law, and friend to many. She is preceded in death by her brother, Pete Bono; and sister, Bettina J. Openlander. Camie's first love was always her family, who she lovingly showered with attention, understanding, encouragement, love, and laughter. Her faith in God was strong and helped her through life's many struggles. She enjoyed traveling and emphasized the importance of lifelong friendships. Her life and courage throughout her illness affirm the extraordinary person she was and serves as a shining example to all who knew and loved her. She truly impacted the lives of all those she met and will be remembered forever.
