She was a member of the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood of O'Fallon, MO for 72 years. Sr. Mary Damian was an elementary teacher at All Saints, St. Peters, MO (3 yrs); St. Monica, St. Louis, MO (2 yrs); St. Rose, Quincy, IL (5 yrs); Holy Innocents, St. Louis, MO (1 yr); St. Maurus, Biehle, Perryville, MO (3 yrs); Holy Family, St. Louis, MO (8 yrs); Our Lady of Fatima, Florissant, MO (4 yrs); Assumption-Mattese, St. Louis, MO (4 yrs); and St. George, St. Louis, MO (1 yr). She was a teaching elementary principal at St. Theodore, Flint Hill, MO (4 yrs); tutor at Holy Family, St. Louis, MO (5 yrs) and a Resident: Prayer/Presence - St. Monica Retirement Center, St. Louis, MO (11 yrs); St. Anne Retirement Center, O'Fallon, MO (5 yrs); St. Joseph Retirement Center, O'Fallon, MO (July 3, 2006 - present). Services: The Family is being served by The Baue Funeral Home, 311 Wood Street, O'Fallon, MO. Sr. Mary Damian Hurst donated her body to science through St. Louis University. A Memorial mass will be held on Monday, January 14, at 11:00 am. with a Prayer Service at 6:30 pm on Sunday, January 13, both at the Motherhouse, Precious Blood Chapel, 204 North Main, O'Fallon, MO.
