Mary was a faithful parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church most recently but belonged to St. Rita’s parish for most of her life. She had a very active life enjoying many activities. She volunteered at her church and at Delmar Gardens West for many years and belonged to church organizations such as the Holy Name Society, St. Anne’s Sodality, and the Elderberry club. She loved flowers, bright colors and music whether it was playing the piano, singing in church, or dancing at every opportunity she had. She was an avid Cardinal Fan, enjoyed going to many sporting events with her kids, grand kids, and great grand kids, plus many shows, recitals, concerts etc. Mary also enjoyed being a cub scout leader, cooking and canning, ice skating, traveling, going to the casino with other seniors on the bus, playing bingo, making crafts and sewing. She was a wiz at games like trivia, scrabble, scattergories, and she especially liked to play poker and board games. She enjoyed going to happy hour, the wineries, family events, and she loved any kind of party. Above everything was Mary's love of God, saying the rosary, and watching daily Mass on EWTN, and all the treasured time she spent with her family and friends. She was such an inspiration to all who knew her and she will be dearly missed.
