Mary “DeDe” Lafser, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017, at the age of 55. Loving fiance’ of Mark Weber; beloved daughter of the late Edward and Juanita Doering; devoted mother of Nicole (Nick) Dudas, Jessica (Andrew) Morales, and Justin Lafser; cherished grandmother of Isabelle Morales; former spouse of Kenneth Lafser, the father of her children; dearest sister of Robert (Gail) Doering, Kathleen (Norman) Papenberg, Eleanor (David) Larsen, Charles (Debra) Doering, Catherine (David) Prather, Karen (Randall) Woods, and James (Monica) Doering; and dear sister-in-law of Wanda Doering and Marilyn Doering. DeDe is preceded in death by her siblings Paul Doering, Jeanette Doering, Thomas Doering, Bernadette (Leon) Stonebarger, and Patrick Doering.
DeDe was the true role model for a mother, she cherished her family and taking care of her home. She was a member of Grace Church in Maryland Heights, and was devoted to taking care of the church in custodial services for more than 11 years. She enjoyed feeding and watching birds, rescuing animals, and browsing antiques and estate sales. She loved going on trips to the Lake of the Ozarks with her family. DeDe was dearly loved, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
