Mary E. Butterhorn

Mary Elizabeth Butterhorn (nee Riordan), passed away at SJW hospital at 1537 hours on 3/30/2021 of natural causes after a long illness.  Mrs. Butterhorn is survived by her husband Glenn Butterhorn, her children, Nathan Butterhorn, Matthew Butterhorn, and Heather (Harrison) Emerson, her daugher-in-law Jessica Butterhorn and daughter-in-law Shelly Butterhorn, and grandchildren Jacob Butterhorn, Mazzy Butterhorn, and Max Harrison. Mary Butterhorn had two sisters Maureen Johnson and Ann Lapides and one brother Tim Riordan and an Uncle Gerald Will.  Our condolences go out to the entire Riordan and Will family. Mary was a home maker, a caring mother and grandmother who was well known for her kindness and caring to family neighbors and friends with a good sense of humor and a quick witt. Mary stayed up to date with current events loved to listen to music, liked Tool especially and surfed the internet most every day. She enjoyed taking her children to the movies. Mary was very fond of pets especially Nathan’s dog Czar and Gimbli.

Mary loved her grandchildren Jacob, Mazzy, and Max and spent hours looking for things to buy for them and never ever missed anyone’s birthday or special occasion and always sent out cards, thank you notes and letters. she was a great mom and grandmother.

Mary also loved to watch the Disney Channel and HBO she was very involved with the series the Crown and liked to watch programs in the evenings before sleep.

Mary was loved by her family and will be missed, and it is a blessing that she is at peace.
