Mary Elizabeth Bunting of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 79 on Thursday, March 28, 2019. Loving wife of 50 years to the late Robert Bunting; beloved daughter of the late Walter Sr. and Ima McRoy; devoted mother of Kathleen (Curtis Michael Parker) Bunting, Deborah (Thomas) Moutray, Ricky (Tammy) Bunting, and Kenneth (Kelly Ellis) Bunting; cherished grandmother of Michael Saunders, Kylene Buffer, Curtis (Sheri) Parker, Tyler Parker, Dawn Moutray, Amanda (Caleb Buffer) Bunting, Tarah Moutray, Timothy (Aliyah McIntyre) Moutray, Melissa (TK) Boyce, Ashley (Tyler Johnston) Bunting, Jacob Bunting, Hailey Bunting, Pamela (Jim Dunham) Bunting, Chelcee Ellis, Aaron (Hannah) Ellis, and Kenny (Ashley) Bunting; treasured great-grandmother of Jordan, Caleb, Ayden, Wesley, Mason, Faith, Hope, Joy, Gracie, Ella, Mariah, Hudson, Carson, Jay, Calynne, Avery, Macie, Trey, Trevor, Lily, Emily, Lexcee, Kaitlyn, Carley, and Avery; dearest sister of Linda (Leon) Hill, the late Margaret (John) Parks, the late Walter McRoy Jr., and the late Lillian Kelly; dear aunt of Tom (Rhonda) Kelly, Don (Nicole) Kelly, Bob Kelly & family, Donna Lee Rosenberger & family, Larry Wheeler & family, Terry Hill-Mancusi & family, Don (Jamie) Hill, and Shannon (Ron) Olson; dear cousin of Sandy Findeiss and Juanita Key; sister-in-law of William Kelly and Joseph (Donna) Garger; mother-in-law of Marc Reutter; wonderful aunt, cousin, and friend to many more.
Mary was a proud military wife and mother who always supported the military, especially the Marine Corps. She was a member of the La Boutique Des Huit Chapeaux Et Quarante Femmes 8 and 40 St. Charles County Salon 771, and the American Legion Auxiliary Aloys Crockwell Unit 313.
Mary enjoyed bowling in her younger years. She loved spending time with her family and cooking great meals for them. She knew more than 10,000 ways to make hamburger dishes. She went on cruises with her sisters to the Caribbean, and traveled to Alaska to visit family. She was a member of the PT Cruiser Club of America, and she even came in first place a few times. Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The 8 and 40 and Ladies Auxiliary Celebration of Life ceremonies will take place at 7:00 pm during visitation on Monday, April 1, 2019.
