Mary Dean Glosier

Mary Dean Glosier passed away Sunday, April 13, 2024, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Robert Glosier, Jr. Beloved daughter of the late Mary and Norbert Wilmes. Devoted mother of Lucy Glosier and Rob (Genny) Glosier; loving grandmother of Dan Glosier, Mike Glosier and Mary (DJ) Lair; treasured great grandmother of Jace, Braelyn, Kade, Gunnar and Kyzar; dear sister of the late James (the late Ginny) Wilmes, Dan (JoAnne) Wilmes, the late Martha Wilmes, and Jean (Dave) Schaeffer; sister-in-law to Peggy (Mick) Boschert; treasured aunt and great aunt.

Mary Dean graduated from The Academy of the Sacred Heart in 1950 and was active in the Alumni Association for many years. She worked at Ely Walker and Lindenwood College until she married Bob in 1953. They were married for 70 years.

Mary Dean was a devout Catholic and very active at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, including Borromeo's St. Vincent de Paul Society. For nearly 40 years she also coordinated preparation and transportation of casseroles for homeless at St. Patrick Center in St. Louis. In addition to her Church, Mary Dean volunteered for many years at Birthright of St. Charles.

Mary Dean was an avid golfer for many years. She also enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She was passionate about sewing, gardening and watching sports on television. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials can be made in Mary Dean's name to Birthright of St. Charles, Duchesne High School, or St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
