Mary Jane Henry

Memorials may be sent to the American Kidney Foundation or All Saints Catholic Church. Beloved husband, Myron Ralph “Spike” Henry preceded her with his passing on May 21, 2005. Mary Jane was the loving mother of Linda Murkin (Jim), Patricia Bartels (Dale), Betty Hendrixson (George) and Robert Henry (Kathy). Mary Jane, born in St. Louis, MO in 1924, married Myron in 1947 and together they raised their family in Berkeley, MO. Mary Jane was an active part of Holy Ghost Parish where she belonged to the St. Ann’s Sodality and daily served the students and staff in the school cafeteria. For the last ten years she was part of All Saints Parish. She treasured the friends with whom she quilted at St. Bartholomew and loved serving her family and friends. She leaves all of us with a very sweet and extraordinary legacy of love. Mary Jane leaves 11 grandchildren: Heather Teakel, Stacy Grogg, Joshua Murkin, Lisa Atchison; Charles, Matthew and Travis Bartels; Adam, Emily and Luke Hendrixson; Stephen Henry. She was also blessed with 3 great grandchildren: Amber, Camryn and Tyler Grogg.
