Mary “Jo” Jurczak

Mary “Jo” Jurczak of O Fallon, MO, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018, at the age of 71. Beloved wife of 14 years to Art Jurczak; cherished daughter of the late Paul and Betty Jo Phillips; devoted mother of Michael (Heather) Mueller, Joshua Weissflug, and the late Angela Jo Mueller; loving grandmother of Brandi (Jason) Willen, Mikie Mueller, Hunter Mueller, Alison Miller, Desi Miller, and Kadance Mueller; caring great-grandmother of Jadin; dear sister of Karen (Richard) Rose; treasured aunt of Merrytt (Dennis) Dell, Michelle (Charlie) Hillemann, Melissa (Chris) Felmlee, and Andrea Rose; also survived by loving great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

Jo will be remembered for her vivacious and vibrant spirit, and for her warm and fun loving nature. She enjoyed crafting beautiful pieces of crocheted and knitted items, and loved spending time with her beloved family and many friends. Jo also liked watching and feeding her hummingbirds, listening to Country music, and she loved Cardinals baseball and cheering on her favorite team. She treasured her time going on Girls’ trips, and celebrating with her extended family at their Cousins’ Lunches.  Jo also had a passionate love of dogs, especially her beloved Great Danes. While many special dogs passed through her life over the years, her late Great Dane “Pierce” had a special place in her heart. Jo was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She was deeply loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
