Mary Lu Klarich

Mary Lu Klarich (nee Marquart), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the age of 89. Loving wife of the late Elmer Klarich; beloved daughter of the late Estelle and Fredrick Marquart; devoted mother of Kris (Carl Walkmaster) Klarich; cherished grandmother of Taylor and Austin Snyder; dear sister of Ruth Kurtz and Carol Saak; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews; a wonderful and dear friend to many. Mary is preceded by three brothers, Robert, Bruce and Jake Marquart and one sister, Dorothy Goodhart.

Mary was a woman of faith and an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dardenne. She was a part of the I.C.D. Friday Rosary Group, a group of ladies that shared bible study, followship and friendship. She had a warm heart, a generous personality and was kind to everyone.

Mary enjoyed cooking and she was very gifted at it. She was well known for her delicious recipes. She enjoyed reading, especially cookbooks cover to cover.  Mary had a green thumb and could grow anything from vegetables to flowers to plants.
