Mary L. Hamann, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Eugene C. Hamann; cherished daughter of the late Mary Bryle and George J. Cook; precious granddaughter of the late Mary and Lil Tatter; devoted mother of Brenda (Ray) Miller, Steven Hamann, Daniel E. (Michelle) Hamann and Kelly D. (William) Hamann-Wilcox; loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren; dear sister of Claud Cook. She is preceded in death by her son, Michael C. Hamann, one brother and five sisters.
Mary was a wonderful mother and loved her family very much. She had a larger-than-life personality. She was very social and enjoyed meeting new people. She was a published poet, with some of her pieces being published in Reader’s Digest. Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Mary's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
