Mary L. Temmel

Temmel, Mary L., of Festus, Missouri, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri and West Alton, Missouri, died on Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Fountainbleau Nursing Home. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City. She was married to the late Roman Temmel; dear daughter of the late George and Anna Boyer; devoted mother of Ed (Sally) Temmel, Barbara (Jim) Rogers, and Mary Lou (Dale) Rogers; cherished grandmother of Mike (Diane) Rogers, Diana (Tom) Derochie, Stephen (Pam) Rogers, Beth (Mike) Hoff, Robert (Terry) Merz, Richard Merz, Susan (Craig) Boyd, Denise (Marc) Gerst, Ed Temmel, and John Temmel; dearest great-grandmother of Camille, Samantha, Emily, Garrison, Hilary, Shannon, Kendra, Lacey, Marc, Cody, Todd, Dana, Travis, Rick, Kristina, T.J., Stephen, Becky, Nicole, Danielle, and Amber. She is the great-great-grandmother of Zoe, Alexis, Kaden, Talon, Phoenyx, Ivy, Paige, D.J., Mason, Alex, Jake, Mya, and My'kah. She is preceded in death by her siblings Rose, Georgia, Frank, Gertrude, and her grandchildren Garrison and Amber. Mary was also a loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many. A memorial service will be held at Holy Rosary Church officiated by the Rev. Bill Thess. Memorials may be made to Circle of Concern Food Pantry of Valley Park.
