Mary Lou DeBrecht (nee Linhoff), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday September 1, 2017, at the age of 79. Loving wife of 41 years to the late Donald E. DeBrecht; beloved daughter of the late Harold and Matilda Linhoff; devoted mother of Michael (Cheryl) DeBrecht, Mitchell (Sarah) DeBrecht, James (Roxann) DeBrecht, Thomas (Tammy) DeBrecht, and Daniel DeBrecht; cherished grandmother of Mark (Ashley) DeBrecht, Steven DeBrecht, Tyler DeBrecht, Ryan (Hailey) DeBrecht, and Tyler DeBrecht; treasured great-grandmother of Peyton, Liam, Carley, and Wyatt; dear step-grandmother of Metra (Doug) Holz, Sarah Malekyar, and Angela Malekyar; dear step great-grandmother of Sophia, Aiden, Logan, Lily, Xander, and Axel; dearest brother of William (Janet) Linhoff. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her son, Patrick J. DeBrecht.
Mary Lou retired from Zeisler-Chrysler-Dodge after more than 25 years as a bookkeeper. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan who never missed a game. She loved her family and kept busy raising six boys! She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. Mary Lou was a huge fan of Elvis and could often be found listening to his records. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
