Mary Marie Morrison

Mary Marie Morrison (nee Kershner) of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed  away peacefully on Wednesday December 26, 2018, at the age of 94. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Victor Morrison; grandmother of Victoria Vaught, Christina Hartley, Jenny Bandy, and Gene Hughs;  great grandmother of 9 and great-great grandmother of 1 with another due soon.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Phoebe Kershner; her son Donald Morrison; also eleven brothers and sisters.

Mary and Vic enjoyed over 60 years of marriage together. Although Victor's Engineering  job at McDonnell Douglas/ Boeing Corporation required several coast to coast moves throughout the years, Mary often boasted that they never spent one night apart from each other. While Vic was working, Mary would tend to the best flower garden and lawn on the block and take care of the pets they had over the years. Mary enjoyed walking down the street to what used to be a Hardy’s to meet friends for coffee and social hour, always dressed to the nines and seldom outdone.  While walking Mary would stop to talk to any and all neighbors in sight, everybody in the neighborhood knew and loved Mary. If you wanted the latest scoop, Mary was the best source.

Mary always said there would never be another man like her Vic, so why bother looking. Two class acts together now forever in eternity, Rest In Peace. Memorials may be made in Mary’s honor to USO Missouri or to the donor’s choice.
