Mary Ann Martin

Mary Ann Martin (nee Proost), of Foristell, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the age of 82. Loving wife of the late Francis Martin; beloved daughter of the late Elroy and Anna Proost; devoted mother of Craig (Karen) Martin, Chrissy Busken, Brian (Carey) Martin, Sean (Heather) Martin, Shannon (Curtis) Buehrle, and Anne (Eric) Juden; cherished grandmother of Kylie (Mike) Ameis, Samantha Busken, Jack Busken, Justin Martin, Claire Buehrle, Riley Buehrle, Nathan Martin, Chase Martin, Maura Juden, Brennan Martin, Dean Juden, and Madison Martin; treasured great-grandmother of Eliana Greene and Evie Stonebarger; dear sister of David (Bev) Proost. Mary is also preceded in death by her grandson, Cody Greene; and two brothers, Robert Proost and Richard Proost.

Mary was a housewife all her life however she assisted her husband, Francis, in his insurance business for many years. She was a sports enthusiast and a devout Catholic. She loved her grandchildren, good wine and chocolate. Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Mary's name to Catholic Charities or Society of St. Vincent De Paul.
