Mary Elizabeth McConnell

Mary Elizabeth McConnell (nee Edgar), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Michael Scott McConnell; cherished daughter of the late Ruben J. and Opal M. Edgar; devoted mother of Michelle McConnell, and the late Mark McConnell; loving grandmother of Damon Stark; dear sister of Jim (Brenda) Edgar, Jerry Edgar, Joyce Gibbs, JoAnn Becker, Bill Edgar, Jack (Jane) Edgar, and John (Marge) McConnell; sister-in-law of Linda Ellis; treasured aunt, cousin, and friend to many. 

Sweet and gentle Mary, a beloved and cherished friend, was a familiar presence in the BINGO community, engaging in the game nearly every day of the week. Known for her kindness and warmth, Mary, who shared almost 51 years of marriage with Michael, exuded care, and affection. Her deep affection for dogs was evident in her special bond with her two companions, Tulip and Marley, who held a special place in her heart. Mary's departure leaves a void that will be keenly felt by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her. 

Memorials may be made in Mary's name to Ranken Jordan or Five Acres Animal Shelter.
