Mary Elizabeth Milner (nee Jones) was born December 18, 1924 in Holliday, MO to the late Jesse and Maxie Jones. She was the fourth of seven children. Mary who was raised in rural Holliday, MO, attended grade school and high school and later attended Chillicothe, MO College.
She was married to Alva R. Milner in Mexico, MO, until his death on December 12, 1987.
Mary was a homemaker, a wife, an artist, historian for St. Charles Artist Guild. She taught her grandchildren art skills which has made them artists as well. Her patience and love was well received. Her faith was Jehovah Witness for a number of years. She was beloved by all.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alva R. Milner; a son, Ronnie Rae; one grandson Mark Inman; two brothers, Elliot and Elmer; three sisters, Clella Minor, Janelle Million and Geneva Wilson. Mary leaves behind one brother, Bobby Jones; Mary has five remaining children, Donna Mitchell (Leroy), Diane Matthews Brunson (Bill), Robin Smith (Garry), Randy Milner and Rhonda Smithey (Moochie). Mary is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
