Mary O’Brien

Mary Ellen O'Brien, (nee: Riegerix) of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019 at the age of 69. Loving wife of Thomas O'Brien; cherished daughter of the late Edward William and Marvel Laverne Riegerix; devoted mother of Steve (Angie) Jones, Sandy (Bill) House, and Amy Hom; step-mother of James (Monica) O'Brien, Erin (Craig) Putnam, Maggie (Steve) O'Brien, Katie (Kevin) Morey; loving grandmother of Grant Jones, Elena Jones, Max Jones, Shawn Jezik, Tim House, Alyssa House, Paige House, Brady O’Brien, Kendall O’Brien, Brant Putnam, Riley Putnam, Cameron Belcher, Connor Belcher, Jackson Carder, Aiden Morey, Liam Morey, Audrey Morey, and Evelyn Morey; dear sister of Betty (Greg) Gottfried, Steve (Kathy) Riegerix, and John (Ellen Sandweiss) Riegerix; dear friend of Jane (James) King, Peggy (Nick) Barr, Scot Postl, Patti Postl, and many other beloved relatives and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her two brothers, Edward (survived by Barb) Riegerix, Jim (survived by Rose Ryder) Riegerix.

Mary regularly attended St. Monica's Catholic Church. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals and playing cards. Mary loved to spend time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
