Mary F. Patterson

Mary Florence Patterson (nee Bartlett), of Elsberry, MO, formerly of Mitchell, IN, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Edward Patterson; cherished daughter of the late Lester and Eva Bartlett. Devoted mother of Danny (Lisa) Kinsler, Donnie (Jackie) Kinsler, Dean (Katrina) Kinsler, Ed (Janet) Patterson, Jr., and the late Diane Patterson; loving grandmother of 17; treasured great grandmother of 33; dear sister of Faye Ellen Bartlett, the late James W. Bartlett, and the late Bessie Ruth Hopper; many nieces & nephews. 

Mary was a member of Star Hope Baptist Church, Junior Achievement and McDonald Douglas Retirees. She loved to travel and enjoyed quilting and crafts. Mary was a very good cook and loved to make amazing meals for her family. She also loved to make persimmon pudding and peanut butter fudge. Mary loved animals, especially dogs and cats. She had a standing Wednesday appointment to get her hair done. Mary was a very sweet, loving mother and grandmother who never let you leave without a kiss, hug, and “I love you.” She loved her family more than anything. Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Memorials may be made in Mary's name to Alzheimer’s Association.
