Mary Raney Barnes

Memorial contributions may be made to Missouri Baptist Children's Home of Bridgeton, Missouri. Mary Raney Barnes was born to John W. and Elsie L. Raney in Frankford, Missouri. Mrs. Raney was a seamstress for McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, Missouri for 19 years. She was a former member of International Association of Machinists and a member of First Baptist Church of Lake St. Louis. Mrs. Raney is survived by a daughter, Jane Bliss of St. Charles, Missouri; three grandchildren: Kerry (Brent) Bailey of Wentzville, Missouri, Susan Jenkins of White Bird, Idaho and Sarah (Doug) Lowrey of St. Charles, Missouri; a great granddaughter, Emily Lowrey. She is preceded in death by five brothers: Paul L., Raymond W., Ivon S., Elvy G. and Hurley L. Raney; a sister, Esther Jones.
