Mary Schlueter

Mary Leigh Schlueter (nee: Starck), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed peacefully into Heaven on April 14, 2024. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 67 years, Kenneth; her three children, Michael (Jill), Steven, and Daniel (Deb); her four grandchildren, Amanda (Brandon), Chase (Breeanna), Alexis, and Samuel; and her three great-grandchildren, Carmella, Cassidy, and Walker. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Emily Starck and seven siblings. 

Mary enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors, tending to her garden, playing card games with family and friends, and was a dedicated member at Zion Lutheran Church. She never said no to enjoying an iced cold beer at Fast Eddie's BonAir. Her generosity had no limits, and was affectionately coined the name "energizer bunny", as you rarely would see her sit down. 

Mary's legacy is one of profound impact and enduring love, cherished dearly by all who were fortunate enough to know her. 

Memorials may be made in Mary's name to Zion Lutheran Cemetery or Lutheran Elementary School Association.
