Mary Schmidt

Mary Jane Cecilia Schmidt (nee Cundiff), of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late John Leonard Schmidt; cherished daughter of the late Leo and Mary Cundiff; devoted mother of Ruth (Dale) Nelson, Christine (John) Mayfield, Ron Hurley, Sr., Stanley L. Hurley, Timothy (Patricia) Schmidt, Carolyn (the late Richard) Maupin and the late Patricia Williams; dear sister of the late Anna May Cundiff. Mary is also survived by special son, George Wilburn, and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Mary was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she was active in the Relief Society. She was also a former member of Hilltopper Square Dancing Club. Mary enjoyed sewing, dancing and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
