Master Gunnery Sgt. Leonard “Lennie” P. Miller, Jr.

Miller, Jr., Master Gunnery Sgt. Leonard "Lennie" P., of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, died on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the age of 66, surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of Teresa R. Miller (nee: Stabler); beloved son of Mary Elaine Johnson and the late Leonard P. Miller; devoted father of Michele (Terry) Tillotson, Amy (Jerry) Wolford, and Zachary Paul Miller; cherished grandfather of Taylor, Abigail, Alexander, Emilee, Camille, and Courtney; dear brother of Shirley (Bob) Hellman; dear half brother of Richard Stevenson. He is preceded in death by his sister Joyce Chatmon.
Lennie retired as a Master Gunnery Sgt. from the United States Marine Corps after 36 years. He founded Gateway Warriors Project; he was a member of the Marine Corp League; he loved to golf and play poker. After retiring from the Marine Corps he became National Sales Manager for Jeld-Wen Corporation. He most enjoyed working on the farm with his son-in-law Terry and his grandson Alex. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
