Matilda Cecilia Gaal of Florissant, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the age of 99.

Mother of Gary (Luise) Gaal, Dianna (James) Hassinger, Vernon (Lisa) Gaal, and Kenneth (Jackie) Gaal.

Grandmother of James Cory (Emily) Hassinger, David (Ellen) Hassinger, Katherine Hassinger, Daniel Gaal, Michael Gaal, and Bradley Gaal.

Great-grandmother of James Colin Hassinger, Madeline Suzanne Hassinger, Troy William Hassinger, and Grace Gaal.

Sister of Vincent.

Matilda was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gaal; her parents, Joseph and Bertha; six siblings, and great-grandson, James Christopher Hassinger.

Matilda had a successful career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She found her passion in nursing and found her niche in private home-care nursing. She will be remembered for her spontaneous personality. She was fearless and adventurous. Matilda also enjoyed her travels around the world. She was dearly loved and will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
