Maureen Hosty

Maureen “Marcy” E. Hosty (nee Gallagher), of O Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of the late James Hosty; cherished daughter of the late James and Rosemarie Gallagher; devoted mother of Kevin (Rachelle) Hosty and Amy (Russ) Leesmann; loving grandmother of Brigid Hosty, Nathan Leesmann, Nicholas Leesmann, Sean Hosty, and Emelia Leesmann; dear sister of Ann Gallagher, Jeannine Lohmann, Karen Wisner and David Gallagher; sister-in-law of Betty Hosty; treasured Aunt, Cousin and a friend to many.

Marcy was a selfless woman who would do anything for others. She was driven and passionate and was devoted to helping her community through the different organizations she was a part of.  Marcy was a devout member of Living Lord Lutheran church where she assisted with multiple ministries including the Giving Tree and Grief Share. She was a founding member of the Caroline Close Stuart Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution. In her free time, Marcy enjoyed travelling and spending time with her family and friends. She was very family oriented and involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial's may be made in Marcy's name to Patriot Paws.
